Basaksehirspor once again shown Fenerbahce why its tough team to beat.
Fenerbahce head coach Dick Advocaat first game at the Super League has been taken place against one of the most tough opponents of the league, Basaksehirspor and once again Fenerbahce has lost away this time with 1:0 scoreline.
At every league big teams has one opponent which always seem to provide problems to themselves and surely Basaksehirspor is being such a team to Fenerbahce as it had been losing at their stadium many times in past seasons, including lost its title chances at past two seasons. Mossano early goal at the 3rd minute of the game has led Basaksehirspor to start playing more defence focussed football which had provided lots of problems to the Fenerbahce which tried to go forward. At yesterday's blog, we had underlined that this game would provide general idea how league would be played for Dick Advocaat and also newly-signed players. It would been surely safe to say that Fenerbahce and other big 3 teams would recieve such difficult games as season progresses and Basaksehirspor being used to play at such a tension has shown why its big headache. Key moment at the game has been position of Fernandao where he hit post which followed by Volkan Babacan great save of Robin van Persie shot. If that moment ended with goal the game could developed very differently.
Basaksehirspor has provided its usual football which it does against big 4 teams and has shown once again to viewers why its a team which would be especially difficult to beat as the season progresses. It also showed full concentration of the team which has been lacked by most of the teams in this week.

Besiktas has recieved high motivation in start of season with help of Alanyaspor
Despite of not being entirely ready for the upcoming season and not having Mario Gomez level goal-scorer at the team, Besiktas has managed to get comfortable win against Alanyaspor with 4:1 scoreline at the 1st week of the Super League.
It needs to be stated that to some extend Besiktas was lucky to play with weak opponent like Alanyaspor in beginning of league who showed that as a team, by judging by one game, which is always dangerous thing to do, it is not ready for the Super League level and would have tough season. Saying that, this game did provide that for this season at the attack, assuming that Besiktas will not transfer forward player, Oguzhan Ozyakup would play an important role at the team. He might not perfect attacker but he does have some skills at creating chances and converting them into goals in impressive manner. Therefore, Besiktas with help of Alanyaspor to some extend did provide an image that it would be capable as team to fight for the defence of its title at the league this season.
Next week game against Konyaspor however would be tougher test for Besiktas as we talking about strong team which once again has set high targets for this season and the team which is more closer to the level of football played at the league.
Trabzonspor provided lots of potential in game against Kasimpasa.
Trabzonspor has shown very good attacking focussed game against Kasimpasa and shown that it would be capable to play quality football even through it is still not at its best referring to yesterday's game.
Trabzonspor head coach Ersun Yanal has stated himself that he was unhappy with yesterday's game despite of winning its opponents with 2:0 taking account that it had tough time against them recently. One of the most positive things from game was preparedness and leadership taken by club's newly signed player Oganyi Onazi who showed his willingness which were clearly seen at the performance against Kasimpasa. He made it clear that he would be one of the leading scorers for the team and could help team to be at the league title race in this season. Taking account, that Trabzonspor didnt provide its best performance it needs to be said that it looked much better compare to the team which has played towards end of the year.
Trabzonspor is not setting its aim to be champions at this season and more sees it as transition season and for this transition to be successful it should aim at least for Europa League spot. Trabzonspor did show some potential at Kasimpasa game but time will show if it will be able to grow on that.
