Galatasaray has provided mediocre performance against Karabukspor.
It needs to be noted that Karabukspor was unlucky during its game against Galatasaray at which it has dominated from whole game and has conceded at last second of the game from Eren Derdiyok header. It was clear from game that the game should have ended at least with a draw.
Galatasaray on their side showed very similar football from last season which has been criticised a lot and brought them high number of games to be lost. After the game both Galatasaray head coach Jan Olde Riekerink and administrator Levent Nazifoglu has stated that this performance is unsatisfying and team needs to find solutions for this issue. One of the reasons why there could be such a poor performance could also be not the support of the fans due of the ban it has recieved from Super Cup game. But even with that Galatasaray showed any lack of organisation at the front and didnt perform better than its mediocre performance. It does look that once again role of the Fernando Muslera would be crucial this season.
It needs to be stated that Galatasaray was expected to be starting better this season compare to last season but it has failed to do so and it does provide image that there should be many things done for improvement of the team.
Josue has been loaned to Galatasaray for 1 year.
Galatasaray has officially loaned for 1 year Porto player Josue who is expected to provide lots of impact to the team and would provide lots of solutions at the midfielding and also attacking area. As long as he gets used to the team earlier he would play an important role for the success of the team.
Josue has an advantage at playing at the Bursaspor before hand, having good period down there, and hence is very familiar with Turkish league and hence should not have lots of issues at the adaptation of the league. He is known to be fast player and willing to create and get into the position which could help team to get fast and dangerous attacks. There could be as always questions if he is level is in same level which Galatasaray is seeking for, but the way he plays does look he would strength team in overall. One of the main advantages that it does look that Josue is willing to become champion and would try his best to play an important role for this.
Right now, Josue needs to prove himself for Jan Olde Riekerink and wait to play his first game at the team during Super League 2nd week game against Rizespor on 27th August.
Besiktas and Fenerbahce both wanting to loan Samir Nasri.
There is big fight taking place at the transfer front between Fenerbahce and Besiktas for loaning Manchester City player Samir Nasri but it is known that Besiktas is slightly ahead due of fact that team has been having negotiations for longer time.
It is known that Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola doesnt have plans for Samir Nasri for this upcoming season which could provide extra motivation for those teams even then there is also other clubs involved at negotiations. Nasri would be big boost for team with his experience, status and performance so therefore its normal to see for such a fight by two teams, but taking account due of transfer fees it does provide some issues for this to take place. Fenerbahce is known to focus mainly now towards Hakim Ziyech and Moussa Sow transfer so it doesnt provide much effort for Nasri, so it does look like actions of Besiktas does play bigger role here.
Besiktas also have upper-hand of course for competing at Champions League this season which could play an important role for Nasri decision.
