What happened in Turkish football today? 08/06/2020

Sivasspor got negative results from Covid19 tests.

Sivasspor has announced on same day that it has went through Covid19 tests on early part of the day which turned out to be all negative for players, technical and staff members which would be strong relief for club and whole Turkish community.

It needs to be note that this would be very likely to be last Covid19 tests which team would be going through, until must test it would be going on 13th June, 2 days prior to their Super League game against Denizlispor prior to Super League 27th week. Even through their is seems to be worry right now regarding of 2nd wave arriving to Turkey due of events in last weekend, there seems to be not case among Super League clubs which would make everyone satisfied.

With this result from tests, Sivasspor could give its entire focus to preparation for Super League game against Denizlispor.

Covid-19 tests would be going through 2 days before matchday.

As been noted above, all of the personalities who would working on stadiums on matchdays would need to be go through Covid19 tests as in rest of world, to identify if anyone would be having positive result.

In all precautions measures which been introduced following decision to resume Super League this for sure is being most important right now as it would been able to identify any possible source which could be spreading Covid19 spreading. Needless to state anyone who would be getting positive result following test will also be going through into medical isolation to prevent any spread on future dates with player being counted as injured by league.

This tests would hence provide possibility of virus to spread in football community to minumum.

Possible 2nd wave could affect Super League season.

Overcrowded parks during previous weekends and high number of people ignoring masks and social distancing as country had first normalisation weekend for 8 weeks, did lead to active conversations for possibility of 2nd wave, with Science Committee fearing worst quite rightly.

But how would this affect to Super League since clubs foremost has been agreed to resume league for TFF providing maximum security measures and new cases dropping during previous dates. To some extend, if football clubs would be going through measures which been going through in ideal manner then possibly it would not affect league as there is no reports of possible results right now at all. In here, if it happens, clubs and TFF would need to provide strong guarantee and afterwards following from A to Z points of all its guidelines. Stating that if danger rises to most worst case with lockdown measures being back it would be expected for league to be stopped again, and from what it is known TFF doesnt have plan for it which been announced.

Right now 2nd wave can happen or not, but images of weekend did provide huge worry in Turkish community.
