Fenerbahce has got into final of Turkish Cup without playing a game.
As been expected, Besiktas didnt come out to the Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game against Fenerbahce which has been abondoned following an events which took place on 19th April where Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes has recieved an item to his head and recieved 5 stitches.
As soon as TFF has announced that game would be completed from 57th minute today, Besiktas has heavily criticised this decision and stated that it would not come out to the game as a sign of protest towards TFF. Fenerbahce and head coach according to rules and formalities has come to the game and waited for Besiktas to come to the stadium but their were no reports of them to do so. Of course, it is saddened that the game which would have been played between two major clubs has not been completed due of this circumstances and Fenerbahce has stated that their would prefer for it to be solved at the field rather than with such a decision. It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas has taken their stance and as been stated beforehand is willing to take all circumstances which comes from this strong decision. Even through high number of media outlets and fans are unhappy of this decision, Besiktas community sees as right decision and even willing to spend extra amount of money from fans for merchandice so it can gain from losing such cash from this decision.
Fenerbahce meanwhile would be expected to get to Turkish Cup final where it would be meeting with Akhisarspor on 9th May.
Basaksehirspor would have very tough game against Sivasspor.
Basaksehirspor would be team to start Super League 32nd week game as it is among main title contenders this season being only 1 point behind league leaders Galatasaray as it would be coming to the tough game against Sivasspor.
This blog did state for few weeks right now that even through Basaksehirspor does achieve to win last 2 games this has been done mainly with luck and this reliance mainly to the luck could be too risky and its need to improve with its performance. Due of yellow card, Emmanuel Adebayor will not be able to play against Sivasspor as he recieved his 4th card this season and also Arda Turan is reported to be injured and chances for him to start are pretty low. Still it has enough players who can take an important role of bringing win to the team but it needs to play well-organised game. With Sivasspor still fighting for 5th spot which could bring them Europa League spot, their would come out without doubt with a mind to win game and also show controllable game seeking for weaknesses from Basaksehirspor. In fact, this game could be seen as one of the difficult ones in last 3 weeks and would need for them to provide top level performance if their want to get to the league title at the end of the season.
Sivasspor as the team can provide lots of issues to the Basaksehirspor and it is expected that their would have difficult game so its need to play organising game in all field to keep their chances arrive for title.
Trabzonspor and Rizespor are willing to reduce tension which was raised between clubs at last week of last season.
Trabzonspor CEO Ahmet Agaoglu has also stated today that some parts of team administration would be visiting Rize on 5th May to attend to league title celebrations at 1st league of Rizespor and hence aiming to end this arguments which both sides has in previous season.
As would be remembered by some, Rizespor has stated that Trabzonspor has lost purpusefully against Bursaspor in last week, providing strong reference that there was match-fixing at the game which has led to big arguments between two clubs. Both clubs administration and CEO has been changed since that incident which means that those two leaders of their clubs are willing to solve this issue. In fact, it was Rizespor as would been expected due of event who has send invitation to Trabzonspor which in return has returned favour by attending to the event. This is positive development without doubt as both sides cities are also geographically close to each other, both located at the Black Sea region of the country and means that their could assist to each other in good manner in football and sportive manner so its good news for both of the sides at the end of the day.
For now, lets hope that both sides would keep those good relationships for whole next season and it would not recieve unrelated tensions during season especially when both teams would meet.
