Fenerbahce has reduced average and would now hope that things would turn into their hands on 19th May at 21:00.
With Fenerbahce reducing goal difference against Galatasaray during Super League penultimate game against Karabukspor as it has won with 7:0 scoreline without doubt has raised their chances for league title which still looks to be hard to get and aslo provided more excitement to the period on 19th May between 19:00-21:00 when title winners would become clear.
In normal circumstances, Fenerbahce could provide much more economical performance against Karabukspor during game but it needed for goal difference of 7 goals to be reduced with Galatasaray. Among waiting for Galatasaray to lose (and draw from Basaksehirspor) Fenerbahce had a chance for not getting title to of this factor, but right now it can get title with its best scenario even if its wins against Konyaspor with 1:0 scoreline or any scoreline. Achieving this aim does show that Fenerbahce players focus for the league title during game when played. Relegation zone which has provided pretty exciting competition has also provided pretty exciting season for us but final two relegated teams has become clear at the end of 33rd week as two Ankara sides has left Super League.
One of the most tragic relegation of this season, even through all could be seen as tragic, has been relegation of Genclerbirligi who has become one of the key names at the Super League where it had competeted for longer years. Another tragic aspect has been that team has been relegated during season which was named after their legendary CEO Ilhan Cavcav who has passed away last year. His son, Murat Cavcav, solery at looking at performance of the team could be stated didnt fulfill his father expectation and sadly didnt manage club as well. It needs to be stated that Genclerbirligi did occassionally get surprising results, including getting points from current title contenders Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, but did show good performance with bottom clubs which their showed much poorer results.It has also become clear that club has sacked its coach Umit Ozat and would now seek to bring head coach who would be able to bring team back to the Super League next season.
Genclerbirligi as mentioned has been key clubs at the season and their absence surely would make unusual feeling for long term Super League followers.
Osmanlispor has shown great drop of performance after reaching to knockout of Europa League next season.
Another team which has been relegated from Super League is been Osmanlispor, other Ankara side, who has shown as remembered great performance at the Europa League last season getting as far as to last 16 stage of the tournament.
In fact, it could be stated that Osmanlispor team as squad does have great players and it was clear at the performance which was shown during Besiktas game last week as it has done everything to get at least point and has been been pretty unlucky. However, it needs to be stated that team did go down in performance during this season and despite of memorable performance at Europa League didnt actually show great performance last season. It needs to be stated that team has also strong connection with mayor of Ankara which even through could be seen as advantage but sometimes could turn into disadvantage as its always difficult to control clubs run by government. Still as been noted Osmanlispor does have good squad and does have opportunity to return to Super League if right moves would be done in summer.
Even through two of the Ankara sides has been relegated, Ankaragucu has been promoted to the league and now has difficult and important to be sole representative of Ankara at the Super League.
