What happened in Turkish football today? 16.07.2016

Its good that Coup has been failed.

Turkish community as would be number one discussion, as would be expected to be, has been failed coup d'etat at the night of 15th-16th July of the events has been mainly taken place at Istanbul and Ankara.

In fact, Turkish sports media which is known to leave at its own world, and as would be expected and as it was done in a  right way, didnt provide any news since 10 pm when the coup attempt has started in Turkey, and today it didnt provide any news with only following with aftermath it had to the footballers and their statements. Due of recent terror attacks at the country, Kurdish problems and right now failed coup d'etat does shown unstable situation at the Turkey with everyday life and in politics wise. The following events would surely have big consquences with number of players being reluctant to play in Turkey. If it took place it would have an incredible conclusions.

Regardless what view anyone takes, everyone in Turkey needs to be aware that it was good thing for coup not to take place.

Foreign players might consider to leave Turkey more after failed coup.

One of the factors which has been arisen right at the footballing perspective is about foreign players future in the country and new players coming up. Its more likely that those players would see Turkey as good way to carry on its career and give more attention to their safety.

Number of players had arleady been stated that their would be leaving Turkey due of terrorism attack. For now, clubs administrators has stated that terrorism happen all around the world and hence
nowhere its safe and should not be left country only due of terror. This could be used riughtly before that, but not every country has coups so it cant make such a defence right now. This would surely raise questions of the safety of those players and surely would consider at leaving country for good. There is serious risk that league would hardly have foreigners next year.

The time would show how players would react right now but situation is not looking good.

Foreign teams might not want to play in Turkey.

Another factor would be safety given and reluctance of foreign teams willing to play in Turkey during of friendly games, Europa League, Champions League and World Cup 2018 qualifiers.

Charity game organised by Samuel Eto'o including football stars around the world and also pre-season friendly game between Fenerbahce and Lyon has been rightly cancelled. Those events if will be continued and Turkey show signs of unstability than many teams will be reluctant to arrive Turkey and UEFA might need to change locations. For now, it does look to be case but the situation so unclear it is worry factor for Turkey.

As been noted, it just important to look for best in the country right now.
